This course is for children in YEAR 6 who are preparing for Independent Schools Entrance Exams in January 202o
Course Dates:
Monday 16th to Friday 20th December
INCLUDES a mock exam on Thursday 19th December.

Time: 9.00am to 12.00pm
Location: Friends Meeting House, 59 Church Hill, London N21 1LE
Fee: £60.00 per session or £300.00 for the whole week. The Mock is £70.00, if booked individually.
What will the course cover?
DAILY:
Maths – The maths session will look at the typical questions which arise on 11-plus maths papers. Your child will be given the opportunity to tackle multi-step problems and discuss different ways to approach these problems.
English – The English session will focus on answering comprehension papers and writing a good written piece. Instruction will be given on continuing a story, writing to a title and writing to a picture. We will focus on how to maximise marks for both parts of the exam.
There will be a break in between the two sessions where your child can approach the tutors with questions.
On Thursday 19th December
The course includes a mock exam on Thursday 19th December. This will include a maths paper and an English paper (including a creative writing piece). The papers will be marked and returned on Friday during their final session.
